The Witch's Dance Gathering is a collection of dance performances that celebrate the magic community. While many of the artists performing use the style of Raqs Sharqi (Bellydance), all dance styles are welcome. The Witch's dance gathering invites performers of all backgrounds including race, gender, faith and LGBTQIA. Each dance gathering follows a theme for manifesting magic in witchcraft. Calling all magic dancers! We are setting up for our first COVID-19 friendly Spell Witch's Dance Gathering on October 24th, 2020. The theme is Spell. The performance will take place during the Samhain Witch Market in Richmond, Virginia at the 17th Street Farmer's Market. What is a spell? We define it as performance magic and intent to bring about manifestation. How can your dance performance relate to spells? Are you projecting your will? What will will you project? Covid-19 Precautions:
-We will be performing outside at the 17th Street Market on the afternoon of October 24th, 2020 (details tbd).
-There will be designated enough space for individual and group acts to perform and for social distancing to take place.
-All attendees will be asked to asked to wear a face mask
-The expectation is that social distancing is maintained for both performers and viewers during the event.
